Bob Turner

While attending the University of Georgia, Bob started a small painting business to pay the bills. After graduating in 1985 with a B.B.A., he continued developing his painting business while serving as a youth minister and doing graduate work in theology and philosophy. In 1995 he decided to devote his full energy to building a profitable paint business that focused on the creation and installation of decorative finishes. In the course of developing a better understanding of decorative painting, he completed the Designer Wall Finishes 1 class at The Finishing School in New York. This class provided the jumpstart that moved his business into a new phase of development. In 1996 he began working with Caroline Woldenberg. While working with Caroline on many of her projects, he gained valuable experience and knowledge in every aspect of decorative arts. As Caroline's business has grown and developed, Bob has acquired an extensive knowledge of business practices as they relate to decorative arts with a special emphasis on estimating and supervising residential and commercial projects. This experience is helping to build The Finishing Source, Inc. into a successful decorative arts business.
Bob has taken these many years of experience and translated them into valuable classes on spraying and estimating. His desire in developing these classes is to see other decorative artists build more profitable businesses through the use of efficient painting methods and detailed analysis of the numbers behind the art.
