Fresco Panel Series |
![]() |
Libyan Sibyl, from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, is next in the series of panels using modern methods to recreate the master works of the Renaissance.
Working over a textured background and building layers of luminous glazes, Sean Crosby teaches students his unique approach of seeing value and shape to produce an image that appears to be centuries old. Some of the topics covered in this class include projection, draped cloth, figures, and approaches to rendering a "faux" fresco image.
Beginners, as well as returning students, are welcome to join in learning and perfecting this technique.
