Marbling and Stones*

Marbling remains one of the classic and sought after faux finishes. In this course students learn to blend traditional techniques and analysis with unique state-of-the-art materials. Students render realistic simulations of marbles such as Carrera, Yellow Sienna, Travertine, Norwegian Rose and Serpentine.

These form the foundation for the ability to match any marble, as well as expand into stylized interpretations of real and fantasy marbles.
